This is my fourth time at The All Arts Market in Charlotte, NC. Please check out their web sitehttp://nodarioty.org/ I am having a great time with these windows. What you see are my displays but I am on the search for smaller, single pane windows to frame my pieces for sale. My Etsy store will be up shortly. Will keep you posted
Green With Envy is a fabulous gift shop in Charlotte, NC.http://www.greenwithenvycharlotte.com/ I have many items for sale there. I have combined my Fractured Angelic Collection with a new collection, Queen City Angels. My images appear on ruffled canvas bags, patches to sew on clothing or house linens, and t-shirts. The art collection include plaques, shadow boxes and sculptures.
Beth Swanson of Olde Tyme Marketplace passed on this great idea of combining my work to ruffled canvas bags. I think they are quite pretty. Inside each bag contains a letter that Queen Charlotte wrote to her brother. You can find these bags at Green With Envy in Charlotte NC. I will also be at the All Arts Market in NODA, Charlotte, Dec 15 and 16. They will make fabulous xmas gifts!
I have lived in Charlotte NC. for a year now. Charlotte was named in the honor of Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Germany. I came across some letters she wrote her brother during the Revolutionary War. These letters are part of the backgrounds of this collection.
I just recently moved from Los Angeles, CA. to Charlotte, N.C. I worked in the apparel business as a print designer for the past 20 years. I primarily used Nedgraphics and Photoshop to some extent. I have been focused on my fine art this past year but would love to freelance using my print design skills. Here is a series of work I have done throughout the years. I am starting a new collection just for me that I call Vintage Withering flowers which I will show in another post.
I am a California girl....well, I was born in Pittsburgh but moved to California in my early twenties and stayed for 30 years. I moved with my guy to Charlotte, NC in 2010 and had no idea what a life changing event was ahead of me. My current career as a print designer for the apparel business came to an abrupt end and I had to get my wits about me and figure out what I was going to do the rest of my life. I started painting and never stopped and now I am teaching. I love the creative process and I love sharing it. Life is sweet!!
