- I am a California girl....well, I was born in Pittsburgh but moved to California in my early twenties and stayed for 30 years. I moved with my guy to Charlotte, NC in 2010 and had no idea what a life changing event was ahead of me. My current career as a print designer for the apparel business came to an abrupt end and I had to get my wits about me and figure out what I was going to do the rest of my life. I started painting and never stopped and now I am teaching. I love the creative process and I love sharing it. Life is sweet!!
The primal sensuality in this work runs its fingers across the mirror tracing the face of our souls looking back and listens to the slow turning of the inner wheels of the clock called time... Do our Angels watch? Are they with us? or are we the Angels we seek? Our own inner yearnings to be seen and touched with the same passion we yearn to give... dancing across the deck of a vessle rolling towards home through seas of impossible distance...
